Chili Lime Hot Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (for crispiness)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon MSG

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 400°F (note: if using air fryer skip this step).
  2. Pat wings dry. Toss with baking powder, salt, pepper and MSG.
  3. Cook wings for 45–50 minutes (flip halfway) until golden and crispy.
  4. In a bowl, mix lime juice, zest, hot sauce, melted butter, honey (if using) to make chili lime sauce.
  5. Toss hot wings in the chili lime sauce until fully coated.

Chili Lime Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons lime zest
  • 1 1/2 cups hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for sweet heat)
